SHAZAM -" DOTS THEY CRIED !!"

Thanks for all your feedback on tones,...no tones. The flavor of this peice is definitely "old school " and the majority liked toneless flat color. Now that i've been able to step back from it for a moment, flat is definitely the way to go. I've also added the finishing touches by adding a comic dots halftone pattern, and a yellowing newsprint paper texture to complete the comics/pop art feel. Thanks again everyone for the input.

Did they cry out for red dot's perchance?

And Kevin, you need not worry about Kevin, Kevin is a good guy, Kevin. Which Kevin was I referring to again?

Looks great to me Kevin. I'm really likin' the color dots and the weathered paper. It really adds that last bit of umph! Great stuff sir!

Glad I could help with the dots Kev. You can leave the royalties on my desk.

This turned out top-notch though. I just wonder what a Shazam album sounds like.

I want more. Now.

HEY Kevin,

Did you go to the American Academy of Art? Did you hang out with Thom Bishop and those guys?

If so, do you remember me? Julie? I used to be Thom's girlfriend. I'm living in San Francisco now.

I hope you're well!!! Cool blog!

Bye!
